The ANCL International Potluck Lunch is an opportunity for everyone to prepare and taste foods from our various countries while enjoying fellowship together. Please sign up and let us know how many of your friends and family will be coming. You don’t need to sign up to attend, but if you can it will help the event organising team have an idea of how many people will attend – there is always room for one or ten more, we’re flexible!
AT THE TRAMSSCHAPP:
Around the corner from our usual location. Our Sunday service will also at this location on 9 March!
WHAT TO BRING:
Potluck Lunch is easy and fun: each family is asked to bring a dish, typical of your country of origin, which will serve 8 to 10 people.
If you last name starts with:
- letters A-P: please bring a main course dish
- letters Q-Z: please bring a dessert
Anyone that would like to bring a salad (pasta, rice, vegetable, etc) in supplement, is welcome to do so. If you are unable to bring a dish from your country of origin, please feel free to bring along any dish that you particulary enjoy, which can either be homemade or bought. All recipes from all cultures are welcome; the more varied the better. Due to limited kitchen facilities only foods brought in a slow cooker or a crock pot will be able to be kept warm. Stews and similar dishes are highly recommended. Please no soups as we don’t have the facilities to serve them. There is plenty of refrigerator space for salads and desserts.
ANCL will supply everything else; all you need to bring is the food, your family and friends.
Please note: DO NOT USE nuts or nut oils in the foods that you bring as some people have severe allergies to them.
Thank you in advance for your participation in making this a successful event for everyone.
