ANCL UpdateThis Sunday November 27th is the first Sunday of the 2011 Advent season.  Advent is the 4 weeks before Christmas when Christians traditionally prepare themselves to receive and respond to the wonderful news of a savior for humanity.

Sunday November 27th ANCL will be receiving an extra offering that goes toward ANCL’ Global Outreach projects (see our GOT projects at http://www.allnationschurch.lu/about/global-outreach-team/ ) This separate offering is designed to be above and beyond your regular giving to the church and allows you to directly contribute toward our work in the world.  To reach our annual goal we need donations of 3,700 Euros for the GOT projects through these extra offerings.  So please take some time to consider how God wants you to invest his resources in these projects.  Thanks!

The Luxembourg International Bazar is a great way to see (and taste!) the variety of cultures that call Luxembourg home and is a great way to expand your vision of God’s love for the nations of the world.  The Intl. Bazar is held each year at the Luxexpo in the Kirchberg and is open Saturday November 26th from 11:00 to 19:00 and Sunday November 27th from 10:00 to 18:00.  For more info go to http://www.bazar-international.lu/home.aspx .   Although The Intl. Bazar is not an ANCL sponsored event it is worth your consideration as both a way to support the International community and to broaden your appreciation of Jesus’ command to make followers of him form all the nations of the world.

Jotham’s Journey is an Advent book the whole family can enjoy.  If you want to add a little adventure to your Advent season, this book is for you.  Beth recently received some copies from the US, so if you want a copy please find her after the worship service in the children’s ministry area (behind the stage and downstairs).  The books are 10 Euros each and are limited in number and will be sold on a first come first serve basis.  To read customer reviews of Jotham’s journey click below http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_5?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=jotham%27s+journey&sprefix=Jotha
