ANCL UpdateThe sermon series in June will be explaining our vision as a church in relationship to God’s call and the needs around us.  Therefore they will be very important for everyone at ANCL to hear.  If you plan to be away in June then we suggest you take time during the week to download the podcast from the website at: www.allnationschurch.lu.  We think you will be glad you did!

A Baptism class is set for this Sunday June 6th at 16:00 at the McMinimy Home – 45 Rue Roger Barthel, L-7212 Bereldange.  If you have not let us know that you want to attend but plan to come please e-mail me at p.mcminimy@allnationschurch.lu .  Attending the class does not obligate you to be baptized on the 20th of June but it does make it possible.

Multi-Church worship Service on Sunday June 20th in Enscherange (Northern part of Luxembourg).  Each year we have a worship service & communion with several other churches as a reflection of our unity as Christians.  There will be a Picnic/Barbecue following the worship service.  We also plan to have a baptism that day as well in Enscherange.  So plan to join us up north on this special day.  Details will be available at church the next few Sunday mornings.

On Friday June 25 All Nations Church and the Catholic Church in Walferdange are co-sponsoring The United Generation Choir.  This Youth Choir is from Greg and Karen Greely’s home church in the USA.   This Sunday a sine up sheet with ways you can help will be passed around the church.  We also hope you will come to the concert in the Walferdange Catholic Church on the 25th!

ANCL Capital Campaign.  If you were in church last week you will have heard Greg Greely make an announcement concerning a fund raising campaign for our next worship facility.  Although we are still looking for the right location we know that there will be a significant cost to moving into any facility.  A target goal of 250,000 € has been set.  In the weeks to come you’ll be given more information on how to give so together we can meet this challenge.  We expect that these funds will cover the following costs: (1) Supplies for a new facility: chairs, tables, kitchen area, sound and projection equipment, stage, etc  (2) Security deposit for a new facility – this can often be up to 6 months rent  (3) transformations to make a new facility work for us – which can include  extra fire exits, front doors, bathrooms, etc.  As you can imagine each potential facility will have different needs and therefore different costs – so our goal is base on “expected” or “estimated cost.  It is possible that our actual expenses well be higher or lower.

A big thank you to those who helped make last weeks ANCL Celebration Sunday a big success!  Although the weather did not cooperate as we had hoped our volunteers did a great job and everyone had a great attitude.  Thanks to each of you who helped make last Sunday another great day in the life of ANCL!

If you have any other questions or we can help you in any other way please don’t hesitate to contact me.
